Quick Weight-loss Update. Drum roll…..

Just a quick check-in to let y’all share in my excitement. Today marks MINUS TWENTY POUNDS (-20.2 to be exact)! I feel great. It is amazing how if you really buckle down and focus, you can transform your body/health in just two months. I won’t say short months because that would minimize the fact that in the 56 days that I have been focused on weight-loss I have had to resist countless diet-breakers. But it was obviously worth every treat I passed up, and every time I joined friends/family at a restaurant and chose the Asian Chicken Salad with no noodles and dressing on the side (all while the scents/sights of the diet-breaking danced around me). Okay, it wasn’t that bad. Once you get used to passing up the fatty foods it gets pretty easy, and soon you find yourself craving an Asian Chicken Salad with no noodles and dressing on the side, instead of those Chicken Strips & Fries.

Yep those are skinny jeans. 😛 In other news, my BMI is now in the healthy range according to NutriSystem and I have just 8 pounds to the target BMI for my height! YAY! I'm a mother of the marvelous Olivia (age 7), the adorable Cooper (almost 3) and Wyatt (6 months). As a busy SAHM (& wife to Tyson aka 'Sarge'), I find myself with irons in many fires. When considering some of my favorite hobbies - i've discovered that a theme that threads through many of them is green. Not necessarily the color (that too) but 'green practices'. I often find myself thinking, how can I make this more environmentally friendly. What ingredients or products are better for my family and the beautiful planet where we live. I hope you will enjoy reading about some of my hobbies and be inspired to try something new!
