Today is the half-way point in my 30 day weight-loss challenge! I thought I would share my results so far. I am feeling pretty happy with my progress to date. I have lost 3.59% of my total body weight! In case you are interested in how to calculate this it is: [(IW-AW)/IW] X100 (= weight loss percentage). I’ve had a few challenging days (The Spring Sale, Mother’s Day & Beat The Bridge BBQ) and an evening out (where I had to find something on a Thai food menu that wouldn’t completely sink me) where I chose the vegetable dish (with chicken).
I’ve been trying to follow the principles that I learned a couple of years ago when I was on Nutrisystem. Small entrees plus Dairy or Protein and Fruit or Vegetable for each meal and one or two healthy snacks (protein bars normally). I’ve been chewing sugar-free gum when I feel hungry and don’t have any healthy choices available. It is going pretty well!
I’ve had plenty of opportunities despite the rain to get exercise – including walking nearly 4 miles yesterday in Beat The Bridge To Beat Diabetes (where you can still donate on my page) 😀 Thanks for reading! Have a Healthy Week!
