I decided to enter a 30 day weight-loss challenge to give myself the motivation to lose a few in time for summer! The challenge was put forward by the author of a blog that I follow: The Sparkle Mama’s Blog http://www.thesparklemama.blogspot.com/ . There are 15 of us entered and we are each putting a cloth diaper into the prize package for the top 3 mamas that lose the highest body weight percentage in 30 days. Like some of the other challengers have said, it isn’t the prize that is the ultimate goal, but the weight-loss. Getting a bunch of new cloth diapers (for those of us with addictions) would just be an added bonus! 😀 At risk of embarrassing myself, here is my entry photo (‘before’) Day 1:
The newspaper is for showing the date (for the purposes of the contest) not necessarily to celebrate the headline – although that was a good day!
I am doing mostly diet and some exercise (it’s hard to find time with the two kiddos and their needs -but I do when I can).
